Who are we?
Wirex is owned by Mr Michael Higson and has been sited at its current premises in Great Harwood in Lancashire since 1988.
The company operates on a 24 hours a day / 5 days a week plus single shifts at weekend basis, therefore offering an unriveled service. All programming and planning for the 14 wire erosion machines is carried out by Mr Higson and then downloaded to a highly skilled workforce.
The company specialises in the wire erosion and spark erosion of every aspects of engineering including:

- TURBINE BLADES
- COMPONENT PRODUCTION WORK
It is a source of considerable pride at Wirex as it carries sub-contract work on super critical turbine blades for military aircraft and nuclear establishments. The company has been accredited with ISO 9001 and is working towards world class status.
